A Bright & Happy Birthday Card {The Paper Temptress}

Today I'm sharing a card I made with some of the papers, overlays and ribbon from The Paper Temptress store. The image I used on this card is called Cheers Kaylee and she is from Some Odd Girl. I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers and added a little bit of Stickles and Glossy Accents too.

Here is a closer look at the ribbon and the cupcake overlay I used on the card. I made a little shaker pouch with the overlay. There are more details on how I made it in the short video below.

I chose my colors for this card based on the ribbon I got from The Paper Temptress. Plus, I really like pink and orange together. I added a little bit of lime green just to break up the orange and pink a little bit. It made for a bright and cheerful birthday card.

Below is the full color palette for this card, feel free to pin it and use it as inspiration on your own projects!

Scrapper's Delights Freebie Friday #2

Happy Happy Friday! What a week! As a stay at home mom I don't usually get too excited for the weekend, it's just another day to me. But my kids have been in rare form this week and I am so looking forward to having my husband home to help out for a few days. I may even sneak out of the house for some quiet time. A coffee and some shopping or maybe a haircut sounds fabulous about now.

So, the new freebie from Scrapper's Delights is called Spring Clean Honey. You can get all the details on how you can get her for free from in the Scrapper's Delights Facebook Fan Page

I used the image to make a little decoration to hang on our bulletin board next to our weekly chore list.

Colors of Love

Hello there! There's a new Spectrum Noir Challenge this month and the theme is Colors of Love - Reds and Pinks.

I used the adorable Wryn Scooting By image from Tiddly Inks and colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers. (Palette below)

All of the papers I used on this card were in my Valentine's Day paper stash and I've had them for a long time, glad to get to use them again.

The flowers are form Wild Orchid Crafts. I also added a little bit of Glossy Accents to the wheels.
