Freebie Friday {Honey Anime}

It's time again for a new Freebie Friday at Scrapper's Delights. This time we have a variation of the image from last time, Honey Anime

I decided to use a stitched circle die to crop the image.  I colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers and added some of the clear Sparkle Pen to the pink side of her hair.

The sentiment is Confetti Kindness from Unity Stamp Company, the inside is stamped with "that shi* is free".

Hey There Cupcake!

Today I am sharing a card made with the Verity Rose Collection from Crafter's Companion. I used the "Cupcake" stamp set and the Lace Edge die

I stamped the image on Spectrum Noir Ultrasmooth Cardstock and colored it with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

I finished the card with some flowers and other embellishments from my stash. I was pretty happy when I came across the little cupcake charm. It was just perfect!

I had some fun with this Halloween Card. I used the Batty Penguin image from Scrapper's Delights along with Ghosts Digi Stamps.

I made a double slider card. The ghost moves up and down and the Penguin moves side to side.

Bald Is Beautiful

Today I have another card I made for my Brother-in-Law that is going through chemo. He has started losing his hair and actually just had his wife shave his head. So the bald jokes have started.

I used the image, X-Ray Ray from Dr.Digi.  I colored him with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I used a stitched banner die to cut around the image. I finished it with a little wood veneer heart that I had colored red and some dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Pretty Little Lady

Today I am sharing a bookmark I made for my daughter, Madison. We have just started reading the Amelia Bedelia Series, so she needed a cute bookmark to keep our page.

I used the stamp set "Aggie" from Scruffy Little Kitten. I think she and her little kitty are so cute. I love all the little sentiments that come with this set as well.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. I used some of the new colors - Love them! They should be available soon,

Madison loves her bookmark and we are enjoying our nightly reading time together.

Fight Like A Girl

My brother-in-law is going through chemo treatments right now. It's a difficult and scary thing, but he asked us to help him keep a sense of humor about the whole thing, to be upbeat and positive.

I thought this super girly card would be just the thing.

The image is from Saturated Canary. I colored her with Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.  (FS1 FS2 FS5 FS9 CR2 DR6 DR5 LV2 HB3 EB3 TN3 GG2 GG1 TB9 TB6 TB4)

Inside I added a sentiment with advice for a young lady, just the kind of thing he needs.  I really hope he doesn't let the boys be mean to him.

My husband thought this whole thing was kind of ridiculous, BUT it made him laugh. So I'm pretty sure it will make his brother laugh too!

Love You Forever

I am loving all of the adorable images on the Angelica and Adam CD from Crafter's Companion. I printed this little cutie and colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers

I decided to do sort of an ombre effect on her dress in shades of yellow. I used the Rococo die to make the border across the center from a piece of yellow cardstock. Then I colored that with a clear sparkle pen. I finished it off with a stamped sentiment, some ribbon and a few flowers.

Happy Sweet 16

This past weekend we celebrated my little cousin's 16th Birthday. She was the flower girl in my first wedding when she was just a little thing. It's hard to believe she is 16 already! Time goes by so fast.

I used the image "Say It With Balloons" from Scrapper's Delights colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Crystal Clear Sparkle Pen.

I covered the balloons in Glossy Accents to give them some more dimension. While it was still wet I sprinkled them with glitter. I cut the Happy & Sweet out of pink glitter paper using some dies. I love this set of small word dies, I don't remember the brand, but I got it at Hobby Lobby.

I finished it off with some papers from my stash.

Have A Beautiful Day

I made this card using the Watercolor Stripe Tutorial on the Spectrum Noir blog. It's  quick and simple way to create a background, and it can match your images perfectly!

I used the AquaBlend pencils Fig, Hyacinth, Azalea, Bottle Green and Parakeet. I also added some of the clear sparkle pen on the flower.

The flower stamp is Dahlia Burst from Fun Stampers Journey.  This has become one of my favorite stamp sets.  It has this large flower as well as some smaller ones. So many possibilities with this set!

You can see this and many other tutorials at

Foxy Fall Friends

Today I have a card made with one of my favorite pPinkydolls image. I'm not sure what the name of this image is- it's just a bunch of random letters in my files and I couldn't find it in the Etsy shop today. There is a tutorial for textured fur on the Spectrum Noir blog.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and used some Distress inks for the clouds in the background.  I used the Textures Woodgrain embossing folder from Crafter's Companion on the brown paper in the background. It was a thinner paper so it tore a little when I embossed it which I thought was cool. It added even more texture to the background. And I was super excited to get to use my little fox paper too! Look how cute it is!

I finished it off with a few dots of Nuvo which got kind of wonky because of the texture, but it works. I would have been better off to make them on something else and then transfer to the card. Now I know, lol. I cut the leaves and sentiment from some dies with my Cuttlebug.

Below is the full color palette, feel free to pin it.

Happy Birthday

October is just full of birthdays! And I was totally unprepared for them! Ha ha! I have making birthday cards nonstop (it feels like it anyway) and soon I will have to start on November Birthdays too!

Today we are celebrating my Brother-in-laws birthday. I made him a simple one layer card with this image from Bugaboo Stamps. I colored the image with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers: GG5 GG3 GG2 GG1 DR6 DR4 CR2 CR1 JG6 JG4 JG2 TB7 TB5 TN6 OR1 GB5 CT4 IG9 EB2 EB1 Blender Pen

Happy Birthday - With a Cherry on Top!

Today I am sharing a card I made with one of the adorable images that can be found on the Angelica and Adam CD from Crafter's Companion. There are a ton of great images, papers and other elements on these CDs. I had a hard time deciding what to try out first!

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers : FS1 FS2 FS5 FS9 CR2 DR7 DR6 DR4 EB7 TN8 TN5 LG5 LG3 LG1 BP6 PL2 PL1 EB2 EB1

The background papers are from the Floral Delight 6x6 paper pack, also from Crafter's Companion.

I finished it off with a stamped sentiment and some little enamel dots.

Happy Birthday From Your Little Monsters

Over the weekend we celebrated my Father-in-Law's birthday. I chose this image from Bugaboo Stamps (one of my absolute favorites!) and colored it to go with my 4 youngest's favorite colors. I need to talk to Jodie about drawing one with 5 little monsters so I can include my oldest monster too!

I colored the monsters with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and added some Glossy Accents to some of the eyes, on the purple monster I added a big yellow googly eye. The balloons were coated in Glossy Accents and then sprinkled with glitter.

October Spectrum Noir Challenge {Halloween Colors}

For the Spectrum Noir Challenge this month we want to see your Halloween Projects made with the traditional Halloween colors- black, orange, green and purple.

I used the image The Mummy by Scrapper's Delights colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the card base and background pieces, but altered the design a little bit. The eyeball paper is also from Silhouette.

I dry embossed a spider web on the black paper and then added some Clear Sparkle Pen to the web part just to dress it up a bit.

The Zombie Skin effect was something I learned in the Kit & Clowder Hair and Skin Class. It was really fun to try something really different from my usual cutesy stuff.

You can enter the Spectrum Noir challenge with any project that meets the theme, as long as you used Spectrum Noir products on it.
